+ LEAD GUIDE TEAM
Executive Director & Expedition Lead
Jon's love for moving water and the outdoors has only grown since his childhood days of fishing fresh-cut vine maple poles on his local creeks.
Since 1997 Jon has worked professionally in the outdoor recreation industry, primarily with youth and family. He has a degree in Outdoor Recreation and Leadership from Western Washington University & has logged many hours on rivers throughout the Northwest as both a whitewater and fishing guide and instructor.
As much as the trips and activities themselves, Jon enjoys building relationships and memories with others, especially dads and kids. Jon and his wife Erin founded Family Lines in 2010 and currently live in Plain, WA with their 2 sons (who for now he can still dominate in carpet wrestling).

Aaron's wilderness guiding career began in 1996 at Noah's Ark Whitewater Rafting Co. in Buena Vista, CO. The technical water of the Arkansas River combined with the increased opportunities for deeper sharing hooked him for life.
After graduating from Ozark Christian College, he & his wife, Ami, moved to the Pacific Northwest to start guiding for YD Adventures, working primarily with teens & families for 13 years.
In 2013, after serving as a Family Lines board member since its inception, Aaron joined the Family Lines team to full-time focus on fathers connecting with their kids.
