When my wife and I moved to Montana, we bought a little coffee trailer. What started as a fun side job for her, has turned into one of the best vehicles for helping us serve our community, while making a lot of new friends in some really cool places. Our little trailer has also allowed us to connect with, and encourage a lot of families!

This month, while my wife was busy making the coffee I popped up a few tables next to the trailer and did some fly tying for families. This month we've done 3 separate family fly tying workshops with over fifty families, and it's been a blast!

How about you? If you could do one thing to bring a little family fun to a festival in your local community, what would it be? Think of how you could leverage what we call the 5 main ingredients, and go for it. Take a step! No festivals coming to mind? Then start with your neighbor. Remember, "a little bit of effort can make for a lot of fun" :-)
